After the holidays, Joe Farma and his family were traveling through the Orlando International Airport on their way back home to Boston.
While standing in the line to get through security, Joe noticed a big dog in line ahead of them, sprawled out on the floor and unwilling to budge.
This hilarious Siberian husky was as equally lazy as he was sweet. His owner begged him to get up and walk through security, but the grumpy dog wasn’t having any of it. Meanwhile, the entire line was held up behind him.
A few minutes later, the line was still stalled by the stubborn canine’s impromptu tantrum… so Joe decided to make the most of the situation.
He took out his phone and started filming the adorable inconvenience for posterity.
Huskies are known for being one of the most talkative breeds, using their howls and yelps to convey different emotions. Sometimes it’s as if they can pick up words and translate them into their own type of “dog-speak.” Psychologist and dog expert Stanley Coren says dogs who “talk” are most likely trying to mimic sounds or phrases with the expectation that they’re rewarded with praise or treats.
The husky stayed put on the floor even after Joe turned his camera off. He says the pup eventually stood up and walked through the security gates, thanks to his desperate (and probably slightly embarrassed) owner.
