They Renovated Their Bathroom For Their Dog. Sounds Crazy, But It’s GENIUS!

Renovations can be costly and time-consuming. Plus, if you’re not careful or use subpar contractors, you could end up with something very different than what you initially envisioned.

On the flip side, they can also add a lot of value to your house and can impress visitors.

Maybe you dream of modernizing all your appliances, or putting a pool in the backyard. Maybe you’d like to see some recessed lighting and new granite countertops, or maybe you’d like to customize your house to give your dog something special.

The people below show some houses and rooms renovated to make them chic, stylish, interesting, and totally great for their dogs.

Some of them are simple “life hacks” you can do at home, especially if you’re handy, but some of these others might require a full renovation of the house — but it would totally be worth it, if you ask your dog.

Which of these would your dog like, or maybe he likes things the way they are. Let us know in the comments, or send us some photos of renovations you’ve done for your dog. Please SHARE!

Dogfood isn't the most attractive thing to have out and about. Conceal your dog's bowls and kibble with custom shelving units like this. Insert the bowls into the bottom drawer and then the middle drawer can hold leashes, toys, and other accessories. Lift the lid to the cabinet and there's a perfect place for keeping the kibble.

If you've got bigger dogs (well, smaller ones, too) who like to get messy or muddy outside, give them their own dog shower — then you won't have to worry about them getting your own bathroom dirty.

Some guys like to have a "man cave." Some people like to have crafting rooms, or studios, or offices. If you have the extra space, why not give your pets an entire lounge to themselves? Pamper your pooches!

If you can't afford an entire pool for your backyard, maybe just a small one for your dogs would be a cute addition.

If your dog likes drinking from the toilet — let them! Well, specifically this water fountain designed with big dogs in mind. The shape prevents spillage and stops them from knocking over a bowl, and a stopper prevents overflowing — and either the human or the dog can decide when to refill it.
