When it comes to holiday noshing, cheese is always at the top of our wish lists. And brie is a standard when it comes to festive fromage spreads. The soft cow’s milk cheese adds an instant touch of class to any affair. But if you’ve seen one baked brie, you’ve seen them all, right? Wrong!
Entertaining expert and Slice host Evette Ríos boasts a special holiday brie recipe that has us hollering, “Cheese, please!” — and it’s just too good not to share. She starts with a nicely sized round of brie and, in lieu of traditional puffed pastry, Stonefire Naan Dippers, both of which she snagged at her local Walmart using convenient Walmart Grocery Pickup. (Just place your grocery order online, select a pickup time slot that works best for you, and voila! An employee will bring your groceries right to your car upon arrival.)
After slicing up the brie and the naan, she bakes them together until the brie is soft and melty. Then she tops the gooey goodness with brown sugar for a touch of sweetness, cranberries for color and tartness, and toasted pecans for a satisfying crunch.
