It’s that time of year for high school seniors: for many, prom and graduation are right around the corner, and they know where they’ll each be going off to school in the fall. This is a new chapter in their lives, full of possibilities wherever they’ll be. College is an exciting time: it’s when you find lifelong friends and learn more than you could possibly imagine! And it’s definitely the time when you start trying new things. I loved my time in college, and I only hope that seniors these days will take advantage of every opportunity they come across.

Based on Cyndee Colpaert’s reaction to her college acceptances, we know that she’s more than ecstatic to be leaving high school! The senior’s mom caught her on camera when she read the news online, and the footage is priceless!

The teen applied to prestigious schools: she already received acceptances from the University of Virginia, Dartmouth, Vanderbilt, and Rice, but was still waiting for the responses from Yale and Harvard. Cyndee’s mom, Doris, who is a florist, says that her daughter worked extremely hard to achieve a 4.59 GPA while playing three sports. She would do her homework well into the night, after coming home late, and even on the bus in the morning! Cyndee plans on studying to become a neurosurgeon.

Now watch the clip to see her priceless reaction when she gets news…
