Prince William Admits That Prince Harry Hasn’t Yet Asked Him To Be His Best Man

It seems like it was yesterday when Meghan Markle and Prince Harry announced their engagement, but since then, dozens of rumors have been spreading about what we’ll see at the next royal wedding.

We already know that this couple is throwing the rulebook out the window in ways both big and small — Meghan will be no traditional bride! There are suspicions that her mother will be the one to walk her down the aisle, and she has already made an official appearance with Prince Harry with her hair in a messy bun — not something often seen on members of the royal family.

But what about Prince Harry? It’s well known that having a best man isn’t a tradition for the royal family, but because this wedding won’t be traditional, who’s to say that there won’t be a best man (or as the British say, a supporter) by Harry’s side?

Prince William recently opened up about what being a best man means to him and revealed that his brother hasn’t yet asked him to fill the role.

This week, he told UK radio host Roman Kemp, “He hasn’t asked me yet, just to clear that up. It could be a sensitive subject.”

He then joked that he’s still “working out” the conundrum about having to attend his brother’s wedding on the same day as the FA Cup soccer final, both happening on May 19, 2018.
