Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s son, Archie, isn’t even 2 months old, but he’s already seen a lot of staff turnover.
Sources say the Sussexes have already hired their third nanny in six weeks, after the first two didn’t work out.
While some people are making wild speculations about Meghan being difficult to work for, sources close to the family explain that the duke and duchess are just trying to find the right fit for baby Archie.
A source told the Sun: “Harry and Meghan do not want to rush this or take any risks getting this decision right. It’s deeply personal and can depend on the needs of the baby and parents.”
The source also explained: “Often there are different needs at different stages of the baby’s life. The first nanny was a night nurse.” And now that Archie is out of the newborn phase, his needs have shifted.
While Archie was a newborn, Meghan and Harry needed a nanny who was specifically trained to help with infants. Now they need a nanny who can grow and develop with the family, especially because they plan to take baby Archie (and his nanny) with them on their royal tour of Africa in the fall.
