Boyfriend Tricks Woman With Her Own Photos During ‘Private Tour’ Of Guggenheim Before Proposing

A man got a little help popping the question to his girlfriend courtesy of the Guggenheim Museum in New York City.

According to WPIX New York, Abraham Serouya enlisted the help of museum staff for a heartwarming proposal. His girlfriend, Carol Sabbagh, suspected nothing — at least, in the beginning!

The proposal began with a tour Abraham set up for Carol and her family. They would check out the museum and eventually find Abraham down on one knee.

But before that, he set up a special surprise for Carol. “Because she’s such a great photographer, I wanted to display her work and give her a taste [of] what it’s going to be like in a few years,” Abraham said to WPIX.

Thanks to the museum staff, Abraham set up two of Carol’s photos at the end of the tour.

“He says, ‘I have to show you something in the basement,’ and I’m like, ‘Wow, private archives,'” Carol recalled to WPIX. “All of a sudden, I see two of my photos up — ‘Oh my God, those are mine!'”

As you’ll see in the video below, Carol couldn’t contain her excitement at seeing the photos. When Abraham emerged from behind them, she immediately figured out the truth!
