In times of crisis, a rush of adrenaline kicks in and we are able to do things that we once thought impossible. This fight-or-flight response is the reason that a 5-year-old girl was able to scale a cliff and save her mom and brother after a car accident, and it’s also how a group of passersby were able to lift a two-ton vehicle and rescue the driver of a flipped minibus.

In Guangdong Province, China, a car was making a right turn when it crashed into a minibus heading the other direction.

While the car and its passengers were fine, the minibus flipped over and landed on its side, trapping the driver inside.

Almost immediately, pedestrians were on the scene doing everything they could to help. With enough manpower and adrenaline, the Good Samaritans were able to flip the car back onto its wheels and safely pull the driver through the window to safety.

There’s no telling what would’ve happened to the driver of the minibus had these kind strangers not come to their rescue. Check out the heroic rescue below, and make sure to SHARE this act of courage with friends and family on Facebook!
