Family Admires Big Giraffe On Safari, Then She Slithers Tongue Into Her Nose

No one’s perfect — it’s important to remember this.

You may know someone you consider faultless and flawless but even they have their strange, undesirable, and gross moments, just like you do.

You know those horrible habits that you do discreetly, hoping no one will notice? Everyone has those.

We’re all secretly gross, but we live under the guise that we aren’t, meaning everyone is just putting on a front for one another.

But that’s one of the many wonderful things about animals: They aren’t self-conscious about their strange, unsightly quirks.

They are unabashedly themselves and are blissfully unaware if their cleaning routines, eating habits, or bodily functions bother anyone else.

Take the giraffe in the clip below, for example. He is so tall, amazing, and majestic that the family filming him while on safari can’t help but marvel at his height.

But after stuffing his big nose in the feed bag they offered him, he seriously needed a way to clean it.

Obviously, humans would just go ahead and reach for a tissue, but giraffes lack the arms and opposable thumbs for that.

They do, however, have their long slithery tongues to take care of certain crevices on their faces, and I do hope that you see where I’m going with this…
