Back when I was in elementary school, there were quite a few rumors about the school and its grounds being haunted.

Although my school was pretty creepy and built kind of like a castle, I never truly saw any paranormal activity. Still, I was pretty scared to walk the halls alone.

If I were a student at Deerpark Christian Brothers School in Cork City, Ireland, though, I don’t think I’d ever go back to school again.

The school’s security cameras recently recorded what I can only assume is one angry ghost causing a serious ruckus in the hallways — in the middle of the night.

The school’s deputy principal and “self-proclaimed skeptic” Aaron Wolfe says the school is actually in a pretty scary-looking building. Students often complain of weird noises, their things disappearing, or lights turning on and off. Still, he isn’t convinced the school is really haunted.

Deerpark CBS is also built on land that Aaron calls “rich with history.” During the Irish Famine, the site the school sits on today was the location of the gallows — meaning many people were hanged there.

The video you’re about to see was reportedly captured on school security cameras at 3 a.m. on October 1, 2017.
