Scott Denton and his family were driving to a park in Rhode Island when they spotted something that shook them to the core.

Denton believes it was a swing possessed by a ghost. The family was so disturbed by the sighting, they refused to get out of the car. Fortunately, the dad recorded the ghost swing, and since he shared it online, it has over 6 million views.

“The kids didn’t want to get out of the truck, they were all nervous,” he told Inside Edition. “I recorded the whole event, the kids started to freak out, I got goosebumps on my neck.”

If you look closely, you’ll see that only one of the swings was moving while the others were absolutely still.

Scott believes this discounts any belief that it was wind; he even says it was distinctly not windy out.

“The kids noticed that the swing was doing its own thing and it wasn’t windy out,” he said. “I do believe in ghosts. I choose not to involve myself with ghost activity.”
