Garth Brooks is one of the best-selling artists of all time with a music catalog that spans across multiple genres.
Now his own daughter is following in his footsteps, and the future looks bright.
Garth recently shared a rare black-and-white photo of himself on Instagram, posing alongside his wife (country singer Trisha Yearwood) and 22-year-old daughter, Allie Colleen. They’re celebrating Allie’s very first single, a song entitled “Work in Progress.” It’s a personal song that showcases her gorgeous voice, guitar playing, and songwriting skills.
“What a beautiful voice on your grandmother’s birthday…perfect,” Garth captioned the image.
Allie released her single on the birthday of Garth’s late mother, Colleen McElroy Carroll, who was a country singer in the 1950s.
Garth, 57, has three daughters whom he shares with his first wife, Sandy Mahl. In addition to Allie, there’s August, 25, and Taylor, 27.
“When you have kids, the second they get college aged they just disappear,” Garth told Entertainment Tonight. “So Father’s Day, my birthday and Christmas, those are three days of my life that I get to see all my girls around one table and thank God for their health, their happiness and just catch up with them.”
