Summer may have just ended, but that doesn’t mean we’re done with having sweet frozen treats.
If you’re a fan of ice cream (and honestly, who isn’t?), you probably also like sorbet and frozen yogurt, right?
Unlike ice cream, frozen yogurt and sorbet are often made primarily from fruits and other healthy ingredients — that means you can eat even more of them!
A few years ago, frozen yogurt stores started popping up all over the country. They offer tons of different flavors of “froyo,” from cake batter and dark chocolate to strawberry and natural.
Most of these places also have a variety of toppings, like fruits, chocolate pieces, cookie crumbles, and more.
Frozen yogurt stores are amazing — you can make any sort of frozen delicacy you’d like!
The only problem? They’re really expensive! Most froyo stores charge you based on weight, and it can quickly add up, especially if you put a lot of toppings on it.
Instead of going to a frozen yogurt store the next time you get a craving for a sweet treat, make your own DIY fruity froyo at home! All you need is a few of your favorite frozen fruits, some yogurt, and some honey, and you can make these tasty treats.
