Summer is the perfect time of year for having friends and family over for a barbecue.
I love sitting outside on the back deck on a bright, sunny day and enjoying delicious food and a cool beverage, like a Mason jar full of sangria.
But the heat can often make it difficult to keep drinks cold. And who wants to drink a warm cocktail? Luckily, when I saw this brilliant life hack, I knew I’d never have to worry about a warm drink again.
In this video, our DIY expert Jill Urban reveals a brilliant hack for keeping bottles of liquor cold. All she needed was a large empty juice bottle, a bottle of liquor (in this case, vodka), a knife, and some tape. In no time at all, Jill was able to create the perfect trick to avoid needing a giant bucket of ice at her next barbecue.
This kind of life hack is perfect for me because it is fast and inexpensive. In fact, other than the liquor, this hack costs no money at all!
