Frozen II is hitting theaters on November 22, featuring seven new songs and a few new characters. The cast shared what moviegoers can expect from this highly anticipated animated sequel.

Sterling K. Brown joins the cast as the voice of Lieutenant Mattias, and Queen Iduna, Elsa and Anna’s mother, will be played by Evan Rachel Wood.

In this sequel, Idina Menzel as Elsa, Kristen Bell as Anna, Jonathan Groff as Kristoff, and Josh Gad as Olaf all return. Even though it’s been six years since Frozen first took us to Arendelle to meet sisters Elsa and Anna, Olaf the snowman, and the rest of the crew, it definitely doesn’t seem like it’s been that long.

“It doesn’t feel like six years because we’ve been working on this one for almost four,” Kristen told Entertainment Tonight. “It doesn’t really feel like a gap for us because we sort of never put it down.”

This journey is going to be much different from the first. In Frozen II, Elsa begins hearing a voice calling out to her that leads everyone on a journey north, farther than they’ve gone before. They end up in an enchanted forest, and the plot thickens from there. Idina Menzel is particularly happy with the way Frozen II plays out.

“It’s refreshing to see a movie about young women that isn’t about romantic love,” she said. “It’s about unconditional love, the love of family and loyalty. And I think it’s infectious to see two young women taking risks and pushing each other to be their greatest selves.”
