I’m always on the lookout for the most delicious and interesting foods. I would love to travel the world in search of the best of the best flavors, just like TV host Anthony Bourdain, but I can’t do it as often as he does.
Instead, I have to find the savory and sweet treats close to home!
Luckily, the newest culinary innovations aren’t hard to find, and you can look for them right here on the internet. I recently came across this awesome recipe, and I just had to share.
At first glance, the food placed on the plate looks like a mystery. You can guess that it’s fried, but knowing what’s inside isn’t possible until you cut it right down the middle — and then, you see the explosion of flavors hiding inside.
These fried avocado bombs are exactly that: meet, cheese, and avocado all rolled into one. And can you resist all these delicious ingredients rolled into one? Sign me up as soon as possible!
The breaded and fried avocado is coated with ground beef and onion, while the inside is packed with cheese. Heaven!
Fresh out of the pan, the cheese comes oozing out. Be sure to enjoy these while they’re hot, and I’m sure anyone who tries them will absolutely want to make these at home, too.

- 1 lb. ground beef
- 20 grams panko bread crumbs
1⁄2cup chopped onion
- 2 eggs
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 6 avocados
- Cheddar cheese
- Combine beef, bread crumbs, onion, 1 egg, salt, and pepper in a large bowl, and mix well.
- Peel and halve avocado, remove the seed, and fill with cheddar cheese.
- Bring the two halves together, and cover with ground beef mixture.
- Coat lightly with flour.
- Dip in egg wash.
- Coat with bread crumbs.
- Fry for approximately 4 minutes on each side.
