And since many of us will spend our July 4th weekend with loved ones, it might just be a good idea to have a bit of entertainment around to keep everyone in a fun and festive mood.

This exclusive DIY Fourth of July ring toss set is so easy to make and will provide hours of entertainment for kids and adults alike.


  • Paint (red, white, and blue)
  • Wooden crate
  • Wooden craft stars
  • Glue
  • Wine bottles
  • Water
  • Twine
  • Embroidery rings


  1. Paint crate blue.
  2. Paint stars white.
  3. Glue stars to crate.
  4. Mix water and craft paint inside wine bottles, creating an equal number of red and white bottles.
  5. Rotate to coat the inside.
  6. Glue twine to small embroidery rings, covering the entire rings.
  7. Place bottles in crate.
  8. Place crate of bottles in your yard and toss twine rings.
  9. Win by getting the most rings around the necks of the bottles!
