Do you ever have days when you’re just moody and you don’t know why? Well, it might be the food you’re eating.

Sure, a bacon, egg, and sausage breakfast ball sounds appealing for many, as does a rich red velvet cake, but, research shows that foods like these can negatively affect the way we feel.

According to a study from the University of California, for example, there’s a link between eating trans fats and aggression. And let’s not leave out sugary foods, which may spike your energy level at first, but then make you feel sluggish.

The good news? There are foods that have the opposite effect on our bodies and can actually make us feel happy.

So, maybe it’s best to stay away from those french fries and hamburgers for a while and start eating more of these foods below. The list includes some pretty delicious foods that may surprise you, I promise!
