Farmer Walks Up To 2 Dueling Stags With Wire Cutters After Their Antlers Get Tangled Up In Fence

by Jess Catcher
Jess grew up in Oklahoma before moving to New York to become a writer. She has a cat named Agnes.

It takes an amazing person to go out of their way to help someone in need, regardless of whether they happen to be a fellow human or an animal.

The farmers in the video below are no exception. They spotted two stags who managed to get their antlers tangled in a wire fence during a heated scuffle.

Of course, no one should approach wild animals — especially if they clearly appear to be in as bad of a mood as these dueling fellas.

Luckily, the men in the clip seem to know exactly what they’re doing. Chances are, this isn’t the first time the New Zealand locals have had to come to the aid of an animal.

They carefully approach the pair with wire cutters, taking their time to make sure that neither they nor the stags are harmed in the process.

It’s just so amazing that the farmers happened to be there in time to help out! And that they had someone record the incredible act of kindness to then share with the rest of us.

As they release the first stag from the wire, he immediately bolts away from the scene — as if he were embarrassed to have gotten wrapped up in such a sticky situation.

Take a look at the video to see how they are finally able to get the second one free, too.

And don’t forget to SHARE the amazing rescue with your friends!
