Here at LittleThings, we have experimented with plenty of amazing DIY projects that feature photos as the star ornaments, including these adorable photo coasters that are made from boring old tiles.

In a video below, we share steps to making your own beautiful, personalized family tree centerpiece. All you’ll need are a few photographs and some easy craft supplies to get started.

Supplies:

  • Mason jar
  • Branches or sticks
  • Photos
  • Scissors
  • Hole puncher
  • Ribbon

Directions:

  1. Place the decorative branches inside the Mason jar. Decorate the jar and branches however you like.
  2. Cut photographs into different shapes and sizes.
  3. Punch holes into the corner of the photographs.
  4. Loop colorful ribbons through the holes, and tie photographs onto branches.
  5. Enjoy with family!
