Half of the fun of watching Family Feud is seeing all the hilarious reactions from host Steve Harvey.
As a home viewer, you may think it’s easy to come up with answers on the spot. However, being on the show carries a lot more pressure. So, many answers from contestants may have you thinking, “What the heck?”
When asked to “name something that dries up when it gets old,” Grant rang his buzzer first and said “asparagus.” After giving his answer, the contestant’s face gave away the fact he wasn’t super confident in his answer.
Steve, on the other hand, just stares at the player with a blank look as if to say, “You gotta be kidding me, man!” His look makes Grant crack up, and he continues to laugh when Steve points for Grant to go join his family.
Certain the answer won’t be on the board, Steve shouts the word. But to his surprise, “fruits/vegetables” is actually the #1 answer! Steve is absolutely baffled that the Family Feud player’s answer is on the board, so he walks back over to him and begins apologizing.
“I’m sorry,” Steve tells Grant. “I apologize.”
But then he starts grilling Grant about him knowing the answer wouldn’t be up there. Grant reminds him that it made it up there even if Steve didn’t think it should have been!
