If anyone ever said there’s no fun to be had in the wilderness, they deserve a viewing of the following video.

Attempting to navigate the slippery decline on their way to a watery relief, a herd of elephants turn a muddy bank into a full-on slip ‘n’ slide — and yes, it’s as wonderful as it sounds.

The following video comes to us from the Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Recently, this rescue and rehabilitation center went viral for their adorable video of protected elephants meeting a a park employee’s dog. The youngest elephant on the grounds was feeling a little lonely, but caretakers found that the two made unlikely but fast friends.

In the sweet video below, we see the same elephant baby trying to navigate a slippery slope during a windy day. Following the lead of the elders, this little one parks it on the side of the bank’s edge and slowly, adorably begins to slide down. They likely could have found a more easily navigated way to the water’s edge, but it appears they really enjoyed slipping down that muddy bank.

And who can blame them? What’s more of a blast than a improvised slip ‘n’ slide on a rainy day?

Please SHARE this video with your friends on Facebook if it put a smile on your face like it did ours. Silly elephants for all!
