Elephants are not small animals. When a baby elephant is born, they can weigh anywhere from 200 to 300 pounds! Can you imagine that labor and delivery process?

While baby elephants are smaller than their parents and nannies, they are still pretty big when compared to humans.

And there’s one little elephant in Chiang Mai, Thailand, who either doesn’t realize how big he is or does not seem to care!

The 3-month-old elephant was caught on camera showing his caretaker some affection. As you can see in the clip below, the little elephant is in the mood to cuddle!

The man doesn’t mind at all, even when the baby elephant pushes himself onto his lap. The little elephant is content with laying on his friend and taking a nap right then and there. I can imagine it was easy to fall asleep as soon as his caretaker started to rub his side to soothe him.

If you thought this video was sweet, you’ll also love this video of a caretaker singing a lullaby to a young elephant who’s sick, to help the baby fall asleep in her lap.
