It’s widely accepted that exercise is part of a healthy lifestyle. It has a host of benefits, can put us in a good mood, and even help us live longer!
Of course, exercise isn’t just for the young. Doctors encourage the elderly to engage in some kind of physical activity, too. And it’s never too late to get started! After all, check out this couple who started running at age 50. They have run over a hundred marathons together.
There’s no right way to exercise. It could even consist of performing a few stunts. In the clip below, an elderly man shows off his routine, which he has perfected over the years. It’s quite unusual, but after watching him, we’re convinced that he should compete in the next Olympics.
The 69-year-old Chinese man starts off by attaching straps to a horizontal bar at the park. Then, he hooks his feet so that he’s hanging upside down.
He starts rocking his body back and forth, almost like a human swing. He swings so high that he’s able to stand on top of the bar and swing 360 degrees!
According to witnesses, he has been “working out” like this for years, and the practice shows!
Do you think that, in time, you’d be able to exercise or perform stunts like this, too?
Please SHARE if you’re impressed by this man’s agility and discipline!
