Daughter Waits For Mom To Build Dollhouse, Then Finds Mini Home Fit For Millionaire In Her Room

Jess is a curly-haired Jersey girl who adores penguins and watches the worst reality shows on TV.

Most little girls love dolls, dollhouses, and creating their own little world with their toys. When Elaine Shaw saw how excited her little girl was at the sight of a traditional dollhouse, she decided to give her daughter exactly what she wanted — but with a modern twist.

In the video below, posted on January 6, 2014, the single mom explains: “It all started when I was a child. Two of my uncles made two different dollhouses for me and then in the 1970s, my mom worked in a dollhouse factory.”

Elaine’s passion for tinkering with miniatures seems to be genetic. After a long stretch of hard work, the proud mom revealed her four-story dollhouse called MiPad, which looks like a mini version of a millionaire’s home.

It features a flat-screen TV, a surround-sound entertainment system, real oil paintings, a billiards table, and sliding doors.

Each floor is built one at a time.

“My aim is to bring dollhouses right back into fashion,” Elaine states.

This creative mom is definitely doing so with her sleek designs and handmade approach.

Since the creation of her daughter’s dollhouse, she has set up MIAIMminiatures, a site where anyone can purchase their own MiPad.
