Humane Society Turns 110 Years Old, But Shelter Dogs Make Huge Mess Of The Cake

It was the Edmonton Humane Society’s 110th birthday. What better way to celebrate than with a huge mess?

Luckily, this mess was very meaningful for everyone attending.

In the video below, posted on May 1, 2017, the Edmonton Human Society releases a few of their favorite shelter dogs into a round pen. Sitting in the middle is a colorful birthday cake baked just for this event.

The dog-friendly cake looks beautiful, but not for long!

The adorable shelter dogs begin by walking all over the decorated cake. Soon, they start smashing the cake with their faces and completely dive into their dessert.

That’s one way to dig in.

The excited canines hop around the birthday cake, spreading frosting all over the floor around them.

As they enjoy their food, their human supporters look on with enjoyment. They are happy to see these shelter dogs embrace the spirit of the party. After all, the Edmonton Humane Society works hard every day to keep animals like them safe and on the road to forever homes.

When the hungry shelter dogs are finally through, they leave the massive birthday cake looking unrecognizable.

Check out the video below to see these hilarious dogs destroy the big birthday cake, and please SHARE if you think this is a messy yet very creative way to celebrate!
