If you’re looking for a nice, cold treat to help you beat the heat this summer, this incredibly easy recipe for scrumptious Italian ice will totally hit the spot!
As you can see in the video below the recipe, you can use whatever your personal favorite fruit might be to whip up the satisfying snack. We decided to use four delicious options: watermelon, mango, honeydew, and mixed berries.
For the first three, you’ll need to pre-freeze them after slicing them into blend-able chunks.
The genius part of the wild berries is that you can usually find them already frozen at your grocery store!
Of course, the fresh fruit definitely has its own appeal despite having to wait a bit longer to dig in. Either way, your family will probably be begging for second helpings of the result before they’ve even finished their first scoop.
Not to mention that it’s a much healthier option than grabbing a tub of ice cream — even though there’s definitely nothing wrong with indulging in chocolate cravings now and then either, but sometimes you just want the zing of a fruity treat instead.
It’s also the perfect dessert dish to whip up with your kids or grandkids since it’s just so darn easy.
