If you looked through the notes on my phone, you’d find old grocery lists, reminders to pick up my dry cleaning, and more doctor’s appointment confirmations than I’d ever care to admit.
Try as I might to remember, if I don’t write it down, I always manage to forget something on my to-do list.
Technology has made it easy to set reminders and keep calendars organized. But for forgetful people like me, it still helps to also have an old-fashioned calendar to keep track of dates and appointments.
Because my appointments are constantly changing, my favorite type of calendar is one that I can easily make adjustments to, like a dry-erase calendar. This dry-erase calendar is perfect: not only can I easily erase appointments when something changes, but it’s also easy to customize the calendar’s background with the changing seasons and holidays!
I am just as festive as I am disorganized, so I love this dry-erase calendar that changes with the temperature. Check out the materials and instructions below, then watch the video to see how this DIY calendar is assembled!
- picture frame
- 7 paint chips with 7 rows
- spray adhesive
- Cut the poster board from inside the picture frame to fit the fabric. Glue the fabric onto the poster board.
- Line up the paint chips and spray them with spray adhesive. Place the glass frame on top of the paint chips.
- Reassemble the picture frame. Use a dry-erase marker and an eraser to have fun with your calendar!
