Being in the right place at the right time is always such a wonderful feeling. Seeing that once in an lifetime sunrise, or being there to stop someone from making a fatal step into the street are both reasons to know that sometimes, things really do happen to happen form a reason.

When Michael McCarthy was out and about with his See Through Canoe on the waters of Fort De Soto, Florida, he was definitely in the right place at the right time.

While he was paddling about the lovely green waters, a family of dolphins decided to join him for the afternoon.

They swam next to his boat, put on a little show of leaps out of the water for him, and generally made for a really lovely afternoon.

McCarthy also took a drone out with him on the water on this day.

He had a hunch that there might be something spectacular to film from a bird’s eye view.

Boy was he right!

He sent the drone up over the dolphins, and the camera caught something really incredible.

At the angle that the camera was at relative to the sun, a mist of water spouted from one of the dolphin’s blowholes creates a really wonderful rainbow cloud.

The moment is fleeting, but it really is beautiful. It really does make you appreciate all of those little moments throughout your days that make you smile. It also makes you realize that going out and seeking these moments will probably always be a really, truly wonderful idea.
