We love us some baby animals here at LittleThings, but pet adoptions are by far our favorite.

Duchess and Pharaoh are two sweet pups who’ve decided to take on the role of caretakers for the animals at the Denmans Critters hobby farm.

And that’s no small feat, either. Denmans Critters write that all of the animals that make an appearance in the video include a Nigerian dwarf goat, Muscovy Ducks, Muntjac deer, a baby turkey, and newborn chicks – all of which win the affection of their adorable dogs.

“Duchess and Pharaoh are lovable guardians to all our critters big and small,” they write in the video’s description. “They are komondors who take on the role of parenting and protecting baby chicks to baby deer.”

These precious dogs remind us of another one of our favorite pet adoptions of late. A while back we shared with you a video of a puppy that stumbled upon a group of abandoned baby chicks in her backyard and decided they needed a mother. “We don’t know what happened to the mother, but they showed up in our yard this morning and she adopted them,” her owner and be heard saying off screen. “That’s that. Right Bailey?”
