As a kid growing up with a pool, we had a blast playing with pool toys. Whether we were in floaties, or as teenagers sitting in tubes, whale rafts, and noodles.  Looking back, there really wasn’t anywhere to put the pools toys when we were done playing with them, other than the grass beside the pool — until now.

Melina The Pinterest Queen has created a super-easy summertime solution to this mess: a DIY Pool Toy Organizer. You won’t believe just how truly simple and affordable it is, and chances are, you already have the materials needed to make it from your own backyard!

Where did Melina’s inspiration come from? A place where most moms and homeowners can relate…

“I was so frustrated picking the toys up every time I needed to mow. I just got a little creative and came up with this,” Melinda explained.

Now, Melina and others can easily mow the lawn without taking the time out to collect all your little ones’ pool toys. (Plus, you can make your kids take part in the cleanup as a nice and easy summer chore!)

“I love the pool noodle and floaty holder,” wrote Dimension DIY, a fan of Melina The Pinterest Queen.

There are so many inventive and simple summertime DIY projects that can make your summer a blast, such as a DIY pool noodle sprinkler that’s perfect for some affordable summer fun and an affordable DIY fire pit that completely transformed this backyard.
