If you want to add some artistic accessories to your kitchen, you should try making these awesome watercolor coffee mugs using nail polish.

This is such a fun and creative DIY project that can even be a wonderful activity for kids.

In the video, Audra Kurtz gives a step-by-step guide to show you how to easily make your own watercolor coffee mugs. And the best part? They are fast, cheap, and easy to make. These mugs are perfect as gifts, too.

All you need are the following materials:

  • ceramic coffee mug
  • nail polish
  • toothpick
  • deep plastic tub
  • warm water
  • paper towels

The first step is to fill a deep plastic container with warm water.

(It needs to be big enough to dip your mug.) Then, you pour a few drops of nail polish into the water and mix it. Quickly dip your mug into the mixture and you’re all done. You have a beautiful mug. It’s important to note that you should only hand wash the mugs, as they won’t hold up in a dishwasher.
