It’s the holiday season, which means we’re all scrambling to find last-minute gifts for friends and family members.

At this point, many people have almost all of their holiday shopping done, while others, well, don’t.

If you’re a December 24 Christmas shopper, DIY gifts are probably right up your alley.

I have most of my shopping done, but I keep forgetting about my sweet dog. This is the first year I’ll actually be with her on Christmas day (we’ve always been traveling and left her with family before), so I want to make it one to remember!

That said, I also don’t want to spend a ton of money on gifts for my dog. That’s where DIY presents come in!

This year, I really want to take a picture with my whole family wearing Christmas sweaters, so obviously, my dog needs one as well. Instead of buying an overpriced sweater for her (that she’ll undoubtedly ruin by the end of the day), I’m going to make her a DIY dog sweater!

It’s actually a lot easier to make your own DIY dog sweater than you might think — all you need is an old Christmas sweater, sock, or baby onesie!

Watch the video below for in-depth instructions on how to make each of these types of DIY dog sweaters. And if you can’t wait for Christmas, please SHARE this article with your friends!
