Here’s A Great Way To Make Healthy Baked Apple Chips

I’m always looking for healthier alternatives to delicious snacks. I find that most of the fun in digging up these new recipes lies in getting creative with the ingredients.

Some of my all-time favorite healthy recipes showed me how to make special homemade “sushi” and these plant-based pasta noodles.

  • 3 apples
  • 1 Tbsp. cinnamon
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • Whisk
  • Baking sheet lined with parchment paper
  • Mandolin
  • Some yogurt and honey (other suggestions: chocolate or caramel sauce)


  1. Whisk the sugar and cinnamon together in a bowl.
  2. Quarter the apples, then slice them on the mandolin.
  3. Coat the apple slices in the cinnamon and sugar mixture.
  4. Line the slices on the baking sheet.
  5. Preheat oven to 250 °F.
  6. Bake apples for 2 hours, until they’re crispy.
