Demi Moore is currently promoting her new memoir, Inside Out, and she’s publicly revealing some very personal details about her struggles with drug abuse.

Demi and her three daughters — Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah — made a recent appearance on Jada Pinkett Smith’s Facebook Watch series Red Table Talk.

The three sisters spoke candidly to and about their superstar mom — and how her alcohol abuse and relapse impacted them.

Whenever Demi was under the influence, Tallulah said it was as if “a monster came” and took over her mother’s mind and body.

“I remember there’s just the anxiety that would come up in my body when I could sense that her eyes were shutting a little bit more, the way she was speaking,” Tallulah said.

“Or she would be a lot more affectionate with me if she wasn’t sober.”

Perhaps the most striking part of the interview came when Rumer, Demi’s eldest daughter, described the moment she found Demi in the middle of an overdose.

Watch the clip below to see these brave women speak so openly about such a terrifying experience.
