Mandy Harvey has been singing and playing music ever since she was 4 years old. But when she turned 18, her worst nightmare became a reality.

Mandy lost her hearing due to a connective tissue disorder. She thought her dreams of being a musician were crushed.

But over time, this inspiring young woman got back into singing using muscle memory and trusting her pitch. Eventually, her passion catapulted her back into singing and performing.

Ten years after she became deaf, Mandy took a monumental chance by auditioning for the judges on America’s Got Talent. She took her shoes off to feel the beat vibrations through the floor.

While performing her original song “Try,” everyone in the room became entranced with Mandy’s incredible talent. Simon was so impressed that he gave her the coveted Golden Buzzer. I have a feeling we’ll be seeing a lot more from Mandy in the near future.

Watch the video below to see why Mandy’s audition is going viral.
