It’s Ellen DeGeneres’ 60th birthday today, and so many of her friends dropped in to celebrate her special day.

Throughout the January 26, 2018, episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Ellen was surprised with special messages sent in from some of her most famous friends.

Justin Timberlake even interrupted his Super Bowl rehearsal to sing a live version of “Happy Birthday” to Ellen over video call! But one of the highlights of the episode was definitely Dax Shepard’s hilarious, “so sexy” serenade.

Dax wrote and performed an original number for Ellen. In the previously recorded clip, the actor (dressed in a white tuxedo and bow tie) sat at a piano and sang a dramatic song, listing all the reasons why Ellen makes 60 look “so sexy,” as a montage of Ellen’s funniest moments and photos played in the background.

Dax’s wife, Kristen Bell, stopped by in person to wish Ellen a happy birthday — though her husband’s over-the-top serenade was definitely a tough act to follow! Kristen, who has celebrated the host’s birthday with her on the show for two years in a row now, was asked for specifically by Ellen. The Good Place star gave her friend a sweet present.

“You give so much joy, and you have had 60 years of wisdom in how to share that joy to the greatest degree possible, and we’re all just very grateful,” Kristen told Ellen, handing her a shirt that read, “It took 60 years to look this good.” The actress explained her belief that the shirt was actually referring to Ellen’s good heart.
