David Cassidy, who died in November at 67 years old, has left his daughter Katie out of his will, Fox News reports.

The Partridge Family star apparently had a “complicated relationship” with Katie, whose mother is model Sherry Williams. Katie and her father were estranged, though they reconciled just before his death. In 2009, David told People magazine that “because I didn’t raise [Katie], I didn’t have to parent her.”

After David’s death, Katie posted on Twitter thanking everyone for their supportive words. She says her father’s last words were “so much wasted time” and that she will use those words as “a daily reminder for me to share my gratitude with those I love as to never waste another minute.”

Katie, who was raised mainly by her mother and stepfather, Richard Benedon, stars as Laurel Lance in the hit TV show Arrow, and also starred in the 2006 remake of When a Stranger Calls.

Fox News reports that David Cassidy left all of his $150,000 in assets to his son, Beau Devin Cassidy, a 26-year-old singer and actor. Beau’s mom, Sue Shifrin, was married to David for more than 22 years. He left his music memorabilia to his half-siblings Shaun, Ryan, and Patrick.

After his father’s death, Beau posted a touching image with David on his Instagram account.
