Daredevils are fascinating to me.

These individuals risk their lives to perform unbelievable stunts and acts, things the majority of us wouldn’t dream of doing — I know I wouldn’t.

And though they can be labeled as fearless, what drives these individuals to try these unreal things? What drives a daredevil like James Kingston to walk across the sky on nothing more than a narrow pole?

Kingston, from Southampton, Great Britain, is a notorious daredevil, known for climbing the tallest structures around the world and documenting as he does it.

But he described his latest act as “the craziest thing I’ve ever done.”

This time, he traveled to Al Barari, Dubai, to a construction site.

He climbed to the top of one of the towering, sky-high cranes with absolutely no safety equipment.

His goal? To walk from one crane to another.

His bridge? Nothing more than a narrow white pole connecting the cranes.

And when he placed one foot on the pole, he showed how the pole limply flexed under his weight, showcasing exactly how dangerous the stunt was.

But he was undeterred — living up to his title, he crossed the pole!
