Phil Van Hise recently took his five-year-old son Callen to the West Valley City Skate Park. Callen is in a wheelchair, but that didn’t stop him and his dad from having the time of their lives.

The heartwarming footage was posted on Phil’s wife Paula’s Facebook page. But Phil and Paula never expected it to go massively viral.

Phil and Paula call Callen, their only child, their miracle. He was born premature and diagnosed with Hypotonic Cerebral Palsy. Though he has challenges, he can communicate, read and enjoy life.

Paula says Phil will do anything just to put a smile on Callen’s face, even if it wears him out completely.

“His reaction is what’s worth it,” Phil says. “His joy is what matters.”
