Dad Bonds With His Daughter By Learning How To Style Her Hair

When dads have daughters, it may be harder to bond with them as their little girls grow older. Traditionally (although, now more and more parents are fighting stereotypically gendered toys), girls might not play with the same kinds of toys as boys do.

This leaves less room for common interests between a dad and a daughter.

But this hasn’t stopped one father from finding a great way to bond with his daughter. Josh Wikel started slowly but surely, and by now knows how to braid his daughter’s hair like an expert!

But that’s not all he can do!

He’s learned many different kinds of hairstyles — he can even make letters out of his daughter’s hair. He says that he didn’t want to see his daughter leave for school with “dad” hair.

And this time with just the two of them is the perfect time to talk about anything and everything.

Josh has gone so far as to help other dads with this slight hurdle by posting tutorials online, and providing free classes for dads who want to learn his techniques. What an awesome surprise these girls must have had when they realized they loved how their fathers styled their hair!
