Science can be fun! That’s what our bio teacher kept telling us in high school (we never believed him), but two parents-to-be proved old Mr. Sneedle right when they conducted a science experiment gender reveal to find out whether they were having a baby boy or a baby girl.

In this episode of Oh, Baby! Girl or Boy? Cheri and James get the whole family in on the fun when they throw a science-themed gender reveal party in their backyard to find out if they’re welcoming a boy or a girl to their family of four. The premise is cute enough, but throw in two very excited little older brothers-to-be outfitted in oversized lab coats and safety goggles, and we’re sold.

Cheri and James let the mini scientists take the lead on the “experiment,” filling a big beaker with a variety of kid-safe ingredients like dish soap to create a concoction that bubbles up into a very big, very exciting gender reveal for the whole gang. You gotta admit: This family has good chemistry.

Watch the video below to find out if the family’s next big experiment involves adding a little girl to the mix or experimenting with parenting three boys. And subscribe to Oh, Baby! on Facebook to keep up with all the fun gender reveals the internet has to offer!
