He Stops Car To Let Crossing Geese Pass, Then He Looks To The Left And Sees Flock Never Ends

Animals and roads usually don’t mix.

We have all witnessed the tragic results when they do. While most animals avoid humans and roads, some gutsy geese in Connecticut recently threw caution to the wind and stopped traffic.

A contractor was traveling between jobs when he encountered an army of geese — not four or five, but hundreds and hundreds of geese crossing the road, two by two.

In the video below, the contractor pans his camera to the left and to the right with geese visible on both sides for as far as the eye can see, waddling down the hill, crossing the road, and then proceeding down the hill on the other side.

The geese appear to be unaware (or they simply don’t care) about the traffic. This is definitely one of those things you have to see to believe!

Geese aren’t the friendliest of creatures, so it’s probably a good thing he remained in the car. Plus, he was definitely outnumbered.

I have no idea why all these geese were walking instead of flying, where they were going, or why there were so many. But one thing I do know: If you happen to encounter an army of geese, get out of their way.

Have you ever seen this many geese? I sure haven’t. Please SHARE these gutsy geese with your friends and family on Facebook.
