Couple Cracks 12 Colored Eggs On Foreheads Until Pink One’s Runny Yolk Tells Them It’s A Girl

by Lindsey Smith
Lindsey is from Florida and has worked in online and print media. Her happy place is Michaels craft store.

Expectant parents Molli and Dallen didn’t want to do a typical gender reveal party with their family. Instead of cutting a cake or popping balloons, the couple decided to crack eggs.

The creative gender reveal is based on a game called Egg Roulette, as seen on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Eleven pink and blue eggs are hard-boiled, and one egg is raw. The color of the one raw egg reveals whether the couple will be having a girl or boy.

The mom-to-be and her husband took turns cracking the eggs on their foreheads.

“I’m going pink first,” Molli said. The parents are definitely nervous as they slam the eggs on their heads, but time after time, each one proves to be hard-boiled. Family members joked that they were going to have bumps on their heads — but it seems like it’ll totally be worth it for the memories!

No one in the room can believe that the raw egg still hasn’t been found by the time they get to the final two eggs: one pink, one blue. The couple decided that since it was the final two, they would break them together.

Mom took the pink, and Dad took the blue. Counting down from three, they each smashed an egg on their forehead.

As you’ll see in the footage below, bright yellow yolk flies out of the pink egg and down Molli’s hand, and the entire room screams!
