Making Corn On The Cob Couldn’t Be Any Easier With This Trick

Hamburgers and hot dogs are especially tasty during summer, but nothing can compare to delicious and fresh veggies.

After chowing down on my favorite foods at barbecues, I’m always left craving something a little more fresh, like some sweet summer corn. Whether you cook it in the stalk on the grill, boil it on the stove or pop your corn in the microwave, there’s really nothing that compares to that steamy goodness. When I eat my corn, I prefer it right off the stalk, even though it leaves me with a load of leftovers in my teeth.

One of my favorite weeknight recipes is a nice, sweet summer corn salad, but removing the corn from the cob can be more of a pain than I like.

Since canned corn never seems to cut it, this next video brought to you exclusively by the LittleThings team teaches us the very best way to cook your corn and cut it off the cob in just a few minutes. In the video below, Jill pops her corn in the microwave for four minutes before slicing the end off to perfectly remove the husk and silk. Since cutting corn can be pretty tricky and somewhat dangerous, the next trick is a great idea that I never, ever would have thought of on my own.
