Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, police officers were on patrol near a popular hangout spot for young people on January 11, 2018, when they discovered something.

Behind a place nicknamed “The Palace,” the cops found a poorly concealed keg of beer in the snow. Knowing that underage kids hang around the area, there was no doubt in their minds that the keg was intended for an illegal party that night.

The officers loaded the keg into their squad car but couldn’t help taking a few photos with it and posting them on Twitter.

Along with two hilarious photos, the Upper Darby Police Department had a message for anyone who was going to attend the party.

“Attn young people- you might want to hold off on buying the red plastic cups for tonight’s party behind the Aronimink Swim Club (aka the palace),” the cops wrote on Twitter. “There will probably be a lack of attendance now.”

The tweet has received over 5,000 likes and almost 200 comments. Many of the people who commented on the photos were in stitches after seeing police officers having a sense of humor.

Some people used the platform to tell the cops to worry about “real crimes.” However, the Upper Darby police used their same sense of humor to tweet a photo of filing cabinets filled with all their current cases.

Check out the footage below to see the silly photos. Then, please SHARE this post on Facebook if they made you laugh.
