The summertime is known for adventures, pool parties, and outdoor fun. What better to accompany these ventures with than colorfully delicious treats?!

In this clip below, Rachel, from her YouTube channel KawaiiSweetWorld, creates pineapple macarons using a simple recipe and technique that will have you replicating this gem of dessert for all of your friends and family in no time.

Not only are these treats beautiful to look at, but they must also be delicious with the ingredients she uses!

Rachel starts off by whipping together a thick meringue, which includes the following ingredients: 3 egg whites, ¼ cup sugar, 2 cups powdered sugar, and yellow gel food coloring.

The yellow food color order really makes these treats pop, and makes this treat even more believable.

To make the pineapple buttercream, you’ll need: 2 sticks softened butter, 3 cups powdered sugar, ¼ tsp. salt, 3 Tbsps. pineapple juice, and ¼ cup finely chopped pineapple pieces or crushed pineapple. This will be sure to make a generous amount of frosting for about 24 completed macaron sandwiches.

Lastly, to recreate Rachel’s final touches on these hypnotizing macarons, you’ll need green candy melts for the green pineapple stems and yellow royal icing for decoration.

I can’t wait to try this recipe at home!
