Dog Gets His Life Back With Custom-Made Prosthetic Limbs

We may love our pets like they’re our children, but sometimes we are forced to acknowledge that there are monsters in the world who don’t feel the same way, and who would senselessly harm animals. While we may not understand why some people would commit unspeakable cruel acts against defenseless beings, we can try our best to save them from misery and tragic fates.

Foundations and organizations all over the world like Thailand’s Soi Dog Foundation help these animals in need. They recently gave Cola the dog his life back.

Cola was viciously attacked with a sword as a 9-month-old puppy. He had chewed up a pair of shoes, and the shoes’ owner amputated the pup’s two front limbs in a fit of anger.

For the past two years, Cola has lived without these limbs, taking away his ability to walk and run like others.

But watch the clip to see the happy moment the pup receives a priceless gift: a pair of custom-made prosthetics!

Just look at how thrilled he looks to be able to run around, to chase his own tail, and to play fetch with his new owner, the foundation’s co-creator, Gill Dalley.

Dalley is also an amputee, losing both of her legs in a dog rescue. Now, the two will be able to be in one another’s loving company, with the ability to enjoy life to the fullest!

Please SHARE if you’re ecstatic this adorable pooch can now love life as much as the next pup!
