Jennifer Kailiuli is frustrated after learning that local dry cleaners lost her wedding dress. The Las Vegas woman is getting married in just three weeks.

“It took me a while to find that dress. It was just perfect for me,” Jennifer told KTNV.

Anyone who has been married knows how difficult it is to find a garment that looks great and fits the budget — so losing that special dress can feel disastrous. Jennifer’s dream dress cost $1,500. The cleaners lost it two weeks ago.

When she called, they told her it wasn’t ready.

“The next day, I got a phone call saying that they couldn’t find my wedding dress… I said, ‘You’re joking, right?

My wedding is in three weeks. What am I going to do for a wedding dress?'” Jennifer recalled.

The whole thing seems bizarre. How does a dry cleaner lose a wedding dress?

And yet they were apologetic about losing the dress. They even sent Jennifer a letter and a check for $1,500. Since then, they have been looking for the wedding dress in question and still have not recovered it.

Jennifer has found a new dress, but it isn’t quite what she pictured for herself.

“I just would hate for another bride to have to go through the same thing,” she said. “Part of me is still hopeful that they might find it.”
