Christopher Duffley is a living miracle. He was born extremely premature, blind, with cocaine and oxycodone in his system, and weighed less than 2 pounds. By all accounts, he had a very slim chance at survival and even though his troubled parents gave up on him, he didn’t give up fighting for his life.

The boy was later pulled out of the foster care system by his aunt and uncle, and then diagnosed with autism. He didn’t speak a word until the first grade and when he did finally open his mouth to sing, it was clear why he was saved. This sick little angel may have been born with a plethora of problems, but he was also blessed with perfect pitch.

Overcoming unbelievable tragedies, he is the definition of a survivor and although he can not see, he says his spiritual vision is immaculate. Through music, he heals his soul and wishes to inspire and help others through his faith. His voice is guaranteed to touch your heart and his story can help us overcome difficulties in our own lives. In this beautiful video, a 12-year-old Christopher sings “Open The Eyes of my Heart.” I dare you to watch and not feel blessed for the better.
